Welcome to my personal, online photography portfolio.
I am a 20 year old self-taught and aspiring photographer currently living in Chicago, Illinois. One of my greatest inspirations is this website - the community of artists, mainly photographers, who have proven their artistic talents once and again countless times. The first time I took a somewhat serious interest in photography was about two years ago in 2005. At the time, I had a Kodak point-and-shoot, 4 mega-pixel camera. Since then I have upgraded my equipment; I now use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT (350D) camera along with a Canon EFS 18-55mm lens. I am looking into the purchase of a new, much faster lens, also by Canon, in the next couple months as I will be saving money for the buy until then. Throughout the time that I've been photographing, I have gained much knowledge - learning from my mistakes as well as various experiences. I am hoping that with time I will be one to inspire others, just as so many great photographers have inspired me.
